اليوم بنتكلم عن تعبير جديد (يديد) نستخدمه في اللهجة الخليجية

"يلفّ ويدور"

.Literally: he turns and moves in circle

.It means to omit the main point in the topic

i.e Beat around the bush

جاوب على السؤال من غير ما تلف وتدور.

.Answer the question without beating around the bush

ليش قاعدة (يالسة) تلفين وتدورين؟

.Why are you (f) beating around the bush

لمّا سألت سالم وين مفتاح السيارة، بدا يلف ويدور في الكلام (الرمسة).

When I asked Salem where the car key is, he started beating around the bush
